Robert self portrait on ebay

Janie from Cure News is selling a Robert self portrait on ebay: "I was given this picture when I ran the Cure's fan club back in the early 1990's. Unfortunately I no longer have room for it due to an imminent down-sizing of my office. The picture is very rare, only 1250 were produced and this is number 826, so they are rarely available. It was produced in the US by the band's merchandise agent at the time - Brockum. The print contains Robert's hand-written lyrics from "Letter to Elise" in fine hand-writing and also contains the words "self portrait Autumn 1990 Robert" in chunky marker pen - although I'm not sure if this is an original signature, or a print of his signature. The print measures 69cm x 49cm and is in a plain black frame with perspex / plastic glass. This is a genuine piece of Cure memorabilia and a fantastic addition to any serious collection! Shipping will be charged at actual cost (approximately £12 UK - rest of World approximately £25), once I know where to send the item and whether shipping insurance is required - you're welcome to collect from Yeading, West London, if preferred. Check out my other listings to see my ultra-rare collection of Cure 7" singles!" (Thanks Chris)

The Cure plays Lollapalooza on Aug. 4th

Now official! The Cure plays Lollapalooza in Chicago, IL on Aug. 4th. 60,000 single day tickets (20,000 for each day) go on sale April 3rd at 10am central time. Watch the lineup video here.

Perry Farrell:  "It is so exciting to have The Cure at Lollapaloooza for the first time because I love The Cure and we've never had them. It's always frustrated me and made me feel incomplete and now I can feel complete and die."

Now added to the list of shows at the official site, too. And Robert has added "...AND MORE TO COME!!!", so let the speculation start! You want to add more festival shows, Robert? How about Voodoo Music Experience in New Orleans on Halloween weekend? Make it happen, people! :)

Update (04/03/13): Don't forget that single day passes go on sale today at 10am central time. They will probably go in a flash, so be ready. Good luck! Update: And all sold out now.
If you missed out, there are still 3 day passes available with the travel packages.

Update (05/14/13): Set times are out, and The Cure are only getting 2 hours (8-10 pm).

Cure collection for sale

"I am going to start selling my Cure collection. I was wondering if you know of anyone who might be interested in two of my prized possessions: 1. The Coca Cola Radio German promo 2 cd set from 1996. and 2. BBC In Concert Transcription promo cd from 1997. I have a large collection of cd's from the beginning to now, and vinyl up to Wish. I'm going to start selling it all, probably on ebay. So if anyone's interested in those 2 or more, if they are looking for something, they can contact me at tom(dot)fattoruso(at)gmail(dot)com. I have lots of different pressings on cd's, and all the early vinyl." (Thanks Tommy)
