Denver Riot Fest moved to Mile High Stadium

From Riot Fest on Facebook: Riot Fest & Sideshow, some people didn't want YOU or US in their town. Since we were forced to move Riot Fest away from its inaugural home in Byers, CO, we are bringing Byers to you at Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium in downtown Denver on Sept. 19-21st.

Thank you Riot Fest fans and family for being patient this past week and thank you for standing alongside us. And even though Riot Fest will be at Mile High Stadium this year, we have officially filed an appeal with Arapahoe County as of this morning because we know we are right. All tickets will be honored at the new location and refunds for those who purchased camping spots will be forthcoming.

  2. This is a much better, and far more civilized, venue. I suspect the teenagers are unhappy, but I for one really didn't want to drive for an hour or more (in traffic) each way, and then stand in the dust and/or mud and/or cow do-do all evening. Now, I can simply walk from my house to the concert in 30 minutes! Yay! Denver is a fun city with great restaurants and bars....I think most Cure fans of a certain age will enjoy the experience much more now. I'm happy.

    1. Same here. So I did. :)

Moving it to Denver made it so much easier, and cheaper, to attend. Couldn't pass it up.

And how many chances will we get to see The Cure playing in a football stadium parking lot? :)
